This day is being celebrated all over the world to commemorate the birthday of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, father of Homoeopathy. Earlier the day was remembered by celebrating his birthday. Last few years the day remembered and celebrated at Australia as “Public Awareness Week on Homoeopathy”. Many programs such as free medical advice, rallies conducted. Last year few countries in Europe celebrated World Homoeopathic Day. Now Central Council for Homoeopathy, under Ministry of AYUSH has intimated all organizations to celebrate Hahnemann Birthday as World Homoeopathic Day.
Why have you chosen the topic of infertility as theme for this day,Particularly this year? Our organization usually conducts a Seminar or Workshop for Homeopathic
Doctors every year. Last year we hosted a workshop on Infertility
as “Fertility 2009”. A public Awareness Program was
also arranged jointly in which 25 couples participated the program
in a closed room discussion. Our team doctors explained various
aspects on infertility in both male and female partners, more over
a program on interpersonal problems invited more attention. Open
forum gave them great understanding. The peculiarity is more dread
down cases who lost their hope got conceived. We are proud to say
about five couples conceived! This outcome has inspired us to think
and create awareness on Homoeopathy How is Homeopathy
playing a major role in treating infertility?
A couple after four years of married life underwent
check up and the low sperm count was detected as the cause. When
they underwent routine checkup varicocele was ruled out and surgery
was advised. Meanwhile the general check up revealed Hypertension,
cardiomegaly and kidney dysfunction ruled out. Any how, they underwent
surgery for varicocele. Then they tried IVF, ICSI. Nothing worked
out and finally lost their hope when the physicians, psychiatrists
advised them to adopt a child. Finally they took homoeopathic treatment;
wife got conceived within three months and now celebrated the first
birthday of the child recently. Next thing, many males have erectile dysfunction, ejaculatory problems which can be easily tackled with Homoeopathic Medicines. Many interpersonal problems in relationship in both partners needs counseling , so we insist the both couple to undergo treatment irrespective of their fault findings Homoeopathy is very economical and cost effective in many ailments, Particularly in infertility definitely a beneficial one for the couples who are not able to afford the huge money for the assisted reproduction techniques like, IUI, IVF, ICSI , GIFT etc. Secondly the Medicines are free from side effects, So that the Major role of Hormone Replacement therapy can be replaced in many conditions of female fertility problems and also in males. Thus adverse effects are purely avoided.
The agenda that your organization has planned for celebrating World Homeopathy Day.? Homoeopathy is a very suitable system of treatment for any chronic ailment. Clinically we had seen many success rates in varying diseases. When we come across successful rates in treating Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease, Hypothyroidism in females and successful in treating the sperm disorder, varicocele and erectile dysfunction, naturally dragged to give best results in infertility. Few successful cases have turned into many successful stories now. Our organization feels that it is the time to serve the people who are vexed in treatment and who is not affordable to the cost in modern treatment. This innovation rejuvenated the organization to host a Public Awareness Program exclusively for the couples to make the interaction better and we hope this forum will give them lot of knowledge. So this topic has been selected and as paying tributes to the father of Homoeopathy, on the eve of his birthday, as the “World Homoeopathic Day”
