Mrs. Opiol was suffering from Gout, her blood studies for uric acid was very high. Based on the symptom totality I prescribed a suitable Homoeopathic Remedy. Initially I did`nt find any improvement as I could find in Arthritis. Gradually she was better. I instructed all purine foods for her diet. She had treatment in 1993. She then used to refer many cases of Arthritis. Three months back I attended a child referred by her. A woman brought her two years old child for painful swellings in all joints. The history of the complaints were really strange.

                  Few months back when they were at Gujarat, the child had loose stools with high fever. The child was always crying. Parents took her to a hospital and had been hospitalised for about a week. Fever was controlled to some extent but swelling in all joints made the childs condition more and more distress. Then the parent returned to Chennai and consulted a Rheumatologists. The blood study for R.A, CRP, ASO titer, and uric acid was within limits. The entire family was distressed with chain of anxiety and depression. Her mother was always crying as she was scarred if it would be a cancer.
